Overseas Citizenship of India
Notary Service to OCI Applicants
As a notary public, I have been offering services to clients applying for OCI (Overseas citizenship of India) for a number of years.
OCI is a form of Indian nationality but not a full citizenship of India. The applicants are required to surrender their Indian passports and submit copy of surrender certificate along with their OCI applications. Those applicants who have never held Indian passports and are unable to surrender the said document on whatever grounds are required to submit an affidavit/statutory declaration notarized by a notary public practicing in England and Wales to the Indian High Commission.
Our office is located at Covent Garden, just five minutes’ walk from the Indian High Commission at Strand. For the above reasons, we are in an excellent position to provide assistance to clients in need at short notice.
Other notary Services
Apart from the above, we also offer a full range of notarial services, such as
– Attesting execution of documents
– Providing notarial certificates certifying the genuineness of copy documents, signatures and execution of documents
– Preparing Powers of Attorney
– Legalisation of documents
Appointments
Appointments can be arranged at our offices and at clients’ place of business or home. Evening and weekend appointments can also be made when necessary and in that case extra fees are applicable. Clients must produce their passports and proof of address for ID purpose.
We can also see our clients at our London Hendon Office (NW4) by appointments.
